Can I be completely honest? I respect Dr. Dre with so much, err, ummmm, respect but at the end of the day, I have never been a fan of him rapping. Sure, "The Chronic" is a dope album and "The Chronic 2001" is a certified classic as well, but as far as hearing Dre's rhymes? I do not know. They never seemed to make me go wild and crazy. Maybe because I partially knew he was not the mastermind who penned them (most of the time). Regardless though, I would love for this "Detox" record to drop. Not just because I have an over-abundance of West Coast artists who I have asked for their anticipation on the record which I am saving for the week-of release, but just to keep things moving and get the monkey off of his back.
